Attorney Matthew Shafner Featured as Guest Speaker for The Yale Occupational Health and Environmental Medicine Program and Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association

On Tuesday, January 31, 2012, Attorney Matthew Shafner was the guest speaker for the fellowship program at The Yale Occupational and Environmental Medicine Program (YOEMP) which is dedicated to preventing occupational and environmental illness and injury through educational training, clinical care, consultative activities and research.

Attorney Shafner presented at the Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association (CTLA) Workers' Compensation Seminar: A Toolbox for Basic and Advanced Claims on Friday, February 3. The event was held at the Grassy Hill Country Club in Orange, Connecticut. Attorney Shafner discussed occupational disease versus repetitive injury, statutes, workers' compensation rates, and how the Federal Jones Act is involved.
