John A. Collins, III and Matthew E. Auger of Suisman Shapiro Attorneys at Law have again been named to the Connecticut and New England Super Lawyers lists as top attorneys for 2015. Each year, no more than five percent of attorneys in Connecticut, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine are selected by the research team at Super Lawyers to receive this honor.

Super Lawyers, a Thomson Reuters business, is a rating service of outstanding lawyers from more than 70 practice areas who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. The annual selections are made using a rigorous, multi-phased process that includes a statewide survey of lawyers, an individual research evaluation of candidates, and peer reviews by practice area. The Super Lawyers lists are published nationwide in Super Lawyers magazines and in leading city and regional magazines across the country. The first Super Lawyers list was published in 1991, and by 2009 the rating service had expanded nationwide. In February 2010, Thomson Reuters, the world’s leading source of intelligent information for businesses and professionals, acquired Super Lawyers.

John A. Collins, III, Managing Partner at Suisman Shapiro Attorneys-at-Law, has successfully obtained verdicts or public settlements up to $10 million on behalf of injured victims over a 34-year law practice. He currently serves as the Managing Partner of Suisman Shapiro. The Connecticut Bar Foundation honored Attorney John A. Collins, III, in 2005 with his selection as a Life Fellow. “Selection as a Fellow requires demonstrated superior legal ability and devotion to the welfare of the community, state and nation, as well as to the advancement of the legal foundation”.
