Suisman Shapiro Partners with The Haitian Health Foundation

1/22/2010

Suisman Shapiro Attorneys at Law located in the Courtney Building at 2 Union Plaza, New London, is partnering with the Haitian Health Foundation of Norwich, Connecticut and Jeremie, Haiti, to collect desperately needed donations for the people of Haiti who are suffering from the tragic effects of the recent earthquake. Cash donations are greatly needed to purchase medical supplies, provide shelter and offer assistance for a multitude of needs. Additionally, there is a shortage of protein-rich foods, baby formula, soap and other items which will be shipped to Haiti in the next few months, as soon as logistically possible. The need for this impoverished country is long-term, and the relief effort will be ongoing.

Below are links to a video appeal by Dr. Jeremiah Lowney of The Haitian Health Foundation, and a description of organization’s mission “pre-earthquake.” Please take a few minutes to watch them.
