Car catches on fire, firefighter injured

When you're involved in a car crash, there is always a possibility of getting injured as a result of the crushing impact. One kind of injury that isn't mentioned as often is the risk of burn injuries. Burn injuries are common when cars catch on fire or when there are chemicals leaking onto victims. In any case, the fire or chemicals have to be contained, and victims have to receive medical care.

Injuries don't always happen during a traffic accident; Sometimes, they're the result of someone trying to help the victims. In a case in New London, Connecticut, a firefighter has been left with injuries after trying to put out a car on fire.

The car caught fire close to Chili's restaurant on Interstate 95 South. It's not clear what caused the initial crash.

The good news about the story is that the firefighter is expected to recover. He had minor injuries after trying to put out the vehicle's flames, which were hot and growing as a result of leaking gasoline.

The firefighter was rushed to Lawrence and Memorial Hospital for treatment. Fortunately, the driver of the vehicle was able to escape without injuries from the fire. The fire was put out with foam shortly after the firefighter suffered his injuries.

In situations like this one, a person doing their job got hurt, and others may have as well. Personal injuries can happen anywhere and because of a variety of situations. It's important to know your rights when they do happen, so you can get compensated for your wounds and the care you need.
