Associate Attorney – General Litigation Practice

Suisman Shapiro is currently seeking a qualified associate attorney to join our experienced general litigation team.

The candidate must have a Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school, be a member in good standing of the Connecticut Bar, and be eligible for immediate admission to practice before the U.S. District Court. The candidate must demonstrate superior legal skills, a commitment to professionalism and serving clients. The candidate will have 0-3 years of experience as an attorney. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, a good demeanor, and the ability to build rapport with colleagues and clients are required.  Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary.  The successful candidate will be organized, self-motivated, and have the desire to learn and grow their practice within a team environment.

Attorney – Probate, Estates and Wills

Suisman Shapiro is currently seeking a qualified attorney to join our fast-paced, high-volume estate planning and probate administration practice.

All experience levels are welcome to apply.  Both associate and partnership-level attorney candidates may be considered.  The ideal candidate is a lateral attorney, with at least 5 years of experience in drafting wills and trust agreements, Connecticut probate court filings and administration, estate and fiduciary accountings and/or probate litigation.  Strong research, writing, analytical, and problem-solving skills as well as the ability to build rapport and interact effectively with clients are required.
