Suisman Shapiro Welcomes Attorney Michael A. Hespeler To Its Workers’ Compensation Department

Attorney Michael A. Hespeler has joined Suisman Shapiro Attorneys-at-Law as a Director, practicing primarily in the area of workers’ compensation law. Prior to joining Suisman Shapiro, Attorney Hespeler was a Partner with Solimene & Secondo, LLP in Meriden, CT.

Attorney Hespeler focuses on the representation of injured workers in both State and Federal Worker’s Compensation forums.

Attorney Hespeler graduated from the University of Connecticut in 2008. He received his J.D. from Quinnipiac University School of Law in 2012. He is admitted to practice law in Connecticut and Massachusetts, as well as in the United States District Court – District of Connecticut.

In 2018, the Judges of the United States District Court recognized and thanked Attorney Hespeler for his dedication and service by providing effective representation, pro bono, to indigent persons with matters before the Court. Attorney Hespeler has also been recognized by his peers by inclusion in the Connecticut Super Lawyers Rising Stars List in 2021-2022 in the fields of Workers’ Compensation and Civil Litigation. Super Lawyers is a rating service of outstanding lawyers from more than 70 practice areas who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. Only 2.5 percent of lawyers in Connecticut are selected to the Rising Stars list.

Attorney Hespeler was raised in Groton, CT, and graduated from Fitch High School in 2004. He currently resides with his family in Old Saybrook, CT, and volunteers with youth sports.
