Victim transported by LifeStar after 2-vehicle crash

On Behalf of | Jul 10, 2019 | Personal Injury

Crashes can cause life-threatening injuries, some of which may result in victims having to be rushed to the hospital via helicopter. In the worst accidents, the use of helicopters is used to make sure victims get to specialized hospital units as fast as possible.

A crash in Brooklyn, Connecticut, resulted in one person being transported by LifeStar to a hospital after two vehicles collided.

The incident, which took place at around 6:30 a.m., happened on Route 6 near Prince Hill Road. It wasn’t clear how it happened, but the Connecticut State Police Collision Analysis Reconstruction Squad was at the scene investigating at the time of the July 8 report.

The crash resulted in injuries to at least the one party who was taken by LifeStar, but others may have been hurt as well. Interestingly, very little was released about the incident or how serious the victims’ injuries were.

Sometimes, things happen so quickly after a crash that there’s little known about the injuries that each victim has suffered. In your case, for example, you might have been rushed away from the scene to the hospital for treatment. You may awaken from surgery or after being treated unaware of how serious the collision was.

It’s smart to reach out to your attorney for help putting together the pieces after a crash. Your attorney can help you access the police report and start a claim for the compensation you’ll need to cover your medical care, lost wages and other financial losses. Good help will make a difference in this type of case.
