Attorney Michael P. Carey of the New London law firm Suisman Shapiro has concluded that the Lyme Zoning Enforcement Officer’s position regarding the issues raised by Matt and Barbara Abrams about the Lyme Farmers Market and the Ashlawn Coffee facility is “reasonable and supportable, and he has no legal obligation to issue either a cease and desist order or to provide adjoining owners a “formal opinion and decision.”
