Suisman Shapiro Attorneys Named to Connecticut and New England Super Lawyers
NEW LONDON, CT: John A. Collins, III, of Suisman Shapiro Attorneys at Law have been named 2011 Connecticut and New England Super Lawyers by Minneapolis based Law & Politics Publishing. Each year, only five percent of attorneys in Connecticut, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine receive Super Lawyers honors, and only 2.5% of attorneys forty years old and under, or in practice for ten years or less, receive the Rising Stars honor.
Super Lawyers is a listing of outstanding lawyers from more than 70 practice areas who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. In selecting attorneys for Super Lawyers, Law & Politics employs a rigorous, multiphase process. Peer nominations and evaluations are combined with third party research. Each candidate is evaluated on 12 indicators of peer recognition and professional achievement. Selections are made on an annual, state-by-state basis.
Suisman Shapiro is the largest law firm in eastern Connecticut, providing residents and businesses along the coast from New Haven to Providence with a full range of legal services.
