Suisman Shapiro Expands Team in 2025 with Key Promotion and New Attorneys

Suisman Shapiro Attorneys-at-Law is proud to announce the promotion of Attorney Jillian Miller to Director, and to welcome three accomplished lawyers to the firm’s growing legal team in 2025. These developments reflect the firm’s ongoing commitment to excellence, client service, and the advancement of women in the legal profession.

Jillian Miller, recently promoted to Director, concentrates her practice in family law, criminal defense, personal injury, and employment law. She is licensed to practice in Connecticut, Illinois, and the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Court. Attorney Miller is known for her zealous advocacy, legal acumen, and commitment to client service. Her diverse experience also includes assisting veterans in obtaining VA benefits and assisting with opioid litigation efforts. Attorney Miller has received multiple honors, including recognition by National Trial Lawyers – Top 40 Under 40, inclusion in Super Lawyers® Rising Stars since 2024, and Best Lawyers® “Ones to Watch in America” for 2026.

Marjorie (Maggie) Richardson focuses her practice on Estate Planning, Estate Administration, Probate Litigation, and Elder Law. Maggie brings a compassionate and strategic approach to these sensitive areas of law, enhancing the firm’s ability to serve individuals and families with complex planning needs.

Martha Singer joined Suisman Shapiro this year as an associate attorney. She received her J.D., cum laude, from Suffolk University Law School, and was admitted to the Connecticut bar in 2024. Her practice focuses on general litigation and municipal law.

Kayla Wright, who was recently admitted to the Connecticut Bar, focuses her practice on Family Law. Kayla brings dedication and empathy to her work with individuals navigating some of life’s most challenging transitions.
