Kayla Wright is an Associate concentrating her practice on divorce and family law. She is also a certified mediator with a focus in marital property distribution and child custody disputes.
Attorney Wright received her Juris Doctor from Roger Williams University School of Law, graduating summa cum laude. She received her bachelor’s degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice from the University of Tampa and her master’s degree in Child and Adolescent Behavioral Health from the University of South Florida. During her time in law school, Attorney Wright was an Articles Editor for the Roger Williams University Law Review. She received awards for outstanding academic achievement in nine courses including Family and Divorce Mediation, Domestic Violence Advocacy, and Professional Responsibility.
Prior to receiving her J.D., Attorney Wright dedicated herself to serving vulnerable children and families in Florida’s child welfare system as both a Child Safety Case Manager and a Child Advocate Manager for the Guardian ad Litem program. Through her work, Attorney Wright saw the power of stable family structures and the importance of advocating for families in a compassionate and effective way.
In her spare time, Attorney Wright enjoys reading romance novels and watching movies with her husband. She spent most of her youth living in New London County as a Navy child and is honored to advocate for members of the community that raised her.
