Attorney Sam Nassetta Wins Jury Trial For Driver Charged with Operating Under the Influence

In a recent jury trial in Norwich Superior Court, Attorney Sam Nassetta’s client was charged with Operating Under the Influence. Attorney Nassetta argued that the defendant in this case had an undiagnosed anxiety disorder. The police targeted and bullied him because he was shaking and appeared nervous; and, they wrongly assumed that he was under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Attorney Nassetta’s client testified during the trial, which demonstrated that he does indeed shake when sober. The jury came back with a not guilty verdict within 45 minutes.
