Suisman Shapiro is a Silver Sponsor of The Eastern Connecticut Conference (ECC). Since its beginning in 1934 as a six school, five sport conference, the ECC has grown to include 18 schools overseeing 23 sport programs. The conference is governed by a Board of Directors consisting of the top administrator of each member school, including Bacon Academy, East Lyme High School, Fitch High School, Griswold High School, Killingly High School, Ledyard High School, Lyman Memorial High School, Montville High School, New London High School, Norwich Free Academy, Plainfield High School, St. Bernard School, Stonington High School, Tourtellotte High School, Waterford High School, Wheeler High School, Windham High School and Woodstock Academy. More than 15,000 students are enrolled at the ECC schools, and funding from the sponsorship program is used to enhance student experiences, pay tournament officials, purchase awards and fund future leadership programs.

Attorneys Michael Carey, Erin O’Leary and Paralegals Joanna Lazarus and Pat Latham attended recent football games at Norwich Free Academy and Bacon Academy, meeting fans and athletes and distributing megaphones reading, “More Noise!” The giveaways were a huge hit! Suisman Shapiro attorneys and staff will also be at the Thanksgiving Eve and Thanksgiving Day games at Montville High School and Fitch High School.
