Suisman Shapiro Team Runs Away with Honors at Tour de Noank 2011

For the second year, Suisman Shapiro sponsored the Groton Parks and Recreation Tour de Noank 5K Road Race and Fun Run to benefit Prader-Willi Syndrome research. The event was held on Saturday, June 18, at Esker Point Beach. Approximately 350 runners participated … over 100 racers more than last year. Paralegal organized the Suisman Shapiro team which included attorneys, support staff and their families. Other employees volunteered their time to assist with the race including Paralegals Joanna Lazarus, Mary Wyatt. The youngest Suisman Shapiro team member was Avianna Fiego, only four months old. Ben Lazarus, son of Paralegal Joanna Lazarus, finished the race in second place overall with a time of 17:43. Ben is a member of the Central Connecticut State University Track and Field and Cross Country teams. Below is a photo recap of the event:
